Monthly pass holders have priority for the available seats. In the case where a passenger chooses not to purchase a monthly pass, then they are no longer guaranteed seating for the upcoming month.
Operating costs for the TEO service must be paid on a monthly basis. TEO has the obligation to meet monthly operating costs from generated revenue acquired from seat sales.
It is unacceptable that losses incurred by TEO expenses be passed on to the Municipality's Taxpayers.
Existing passengers who relinquish their rights to a seat will be placed on a waiting list and notified once a seat becomes available.
This route is unique as it will only pick up at one location, the Brébeuf Park & Ride in Casselman, and will then proceed directly to Ottawa via Highway 417.
TEO’s mandate is to provide service for the needs of all residents. It became apparent that, since most day care facilities do not open their doors before 6:30 AM and all of our buses having departure times earlier than 6:30, TEO was not meeting the needs of these parents.
559 was conceived to meet this need and those of persons working from 8 to 4.
Please go to the About TEO page for this information.
